Meet the Photographer

I have been a professional photographer since 1988, and have been doing photography full time since 1993. My previous profession was that of a special education teacher, with sixteen years of experience teaching handicapped children of all ages. Now I go back to my last school each year as the school photographer!

Working with disabled children has given me the people skills so vital for photography. These skills include patience, sensitivity, listening, organization, thoroughness, ability to work well under pressure, and a sense of humor. I believe I also have the ability to make most photographic situations fun.

My equipment includes the latest and technologically advanced Pentax 645 medium format system, as well as a host of Nikon cameras and accessories. Both systems feature in-camera metering systems (TTL) for accurate exposures, autofocusing for sharp images and to capture movement, and built in motor drives for fast film advancement and rewinding.

My primary "focus" is people, so weddings, portraits, families, seniors, team sports and children are my passions. I feel I offer terrific images for the price, thus making my work an excellent value.

I will be happy to meet with you personally and discuss your next photographic adventure!

Most sincerely,
